"Someday these will be the good old days"

There's nothing better than a good story.

One of my favorite childhood memories is of my siblings and I piling on the couch, listening to my mom read out loud. Her "that's all for today" would always be met with protests of "just one more chapter!" There's something about a good story that draws people in and makes them want to soak in the beauty and linger a little longer.

I think that's why I love taking pictures. In its own way, it allows me to be a storyteller. To create something that draws people in. When I am behind my camera, I am working to tell your story. To record your history with a click of the shutter. To create memories that will make people slow down, pull up a chair, and ask to hear the rest of the story.
